Exclusive “Drift Training” on the Bosch Test Track in Boxberg from 8:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. - with top instructors and a maximum of 8 participants per group.

 

TRAINING CONTENT:

Weight-shift slalom: Drivers drift around pylons while placing targeted pressure on the accelerator pedal. This training primarily focuses on the correct visual and steering techniques.

Shifting weight: Initiating a drift is practiced by provoking a shift in weight.

S drift: You will drift around the set obstacles on a blue asphalt track covered in water. This training particularly focuses on optimising coordination between the steering wheel and the accelerator pedal.

Left curves: The goal of this exercise is a continuous drift in a left curve on a wet surface.

Right curve:What can be achieved on a left curve must also be possible on a right curve.

Combination: In this very complex exercise, you initiate a drift, hold it for the whole of the left curve and convert this into a drift on the subsequent right curve.

INSURANCE:
You can take out fully-comprehensive insurance cover (max. coverage € 30,000.00 with € 2,500.00 excess) limited for the duration of the training course for € 60.00 per day. Third party insurance is obligatory for unlicensed vehicles. This costs € 25.00 per day. You can book insurance together with the online registration for your training course or also on the day of the training on-site.

RENTAL CAR OPTION:
For example, a Nissan 370Z at a price of € 549.00 plus the cost of the training.
The price includes fuel and insurance (fully-comprehensive insurance, excess € 2,500.00 and a maximum coverage of € 30,000.00). Double starters (2 drivers in one rental vehicle) are possible.

GENERAL NOTES:
Participants, including companions, must be at least 18 years of age. Because there is no suitable spectator area on the test track grounds, it is unfortunately not possible for others to watch the training in Boxberg. For safety reasons, you are not permitted to bring dogs with you.
